I was never the science nerd, but I come here because you have such an incredible way of breaking down the complexities of science in a way that is entertaining and comprehensible for me. I'm on the edge of my seat waiting for each post.

Don't give up on the ketones. Maybe consider polyandry and love both?

I say this because I started my own journey eight years ago with Fallon's Nourishing Traditions, which is all about implementing Weston Price's theories. That book and Teicholz's Big Fat Surprise led me to throw out all the seed oils in my kitchen and switch to animal fats. About a year ago I read Saladino's The Carnivore Code and increased my red meat and organ intake. All these things were super helpful in terms of how I felt, weight control, and reduced headaches and migraines.

However, it wasn't until I started intermittent fasting last fall that I noticed an increased reduction in headaches and allergies (neither are gone, but they are reduced). So, I think it's both: what you eat and when you eat.

Totally! I do still absolutely love ketones and I fast every single including still doing at least one 40 hour fast each week. I should really clarify that next week. But increasing organ meat has been life changing too. We all really need both: fasting for ketones and eating the nutrient dense foods. 😁

Brilliant article, im so delighted you have taken control of your health and are prospering while helping others. I'm on a similar journey and have transformed my health with fasting LCHF diet and have now gone down the route of formal training with Tim Noakes Nutrition Network. I've completed the advisor training and now learning diabetes reversal. I'm finding there are lots of people seeking good health but are lost in the system and don't know what to do. People really listen to you when you become a role model so keep up the great work. Colin

That's so funny that you mention the Nutrition Network because I'm also beginning training as an advisor with them. I looked at a lot of different training programs and theirs far and away fit what I'm interested in so much more than any other program. Which track are you on?

That made me laugh. It took me a while to pick a course also but the NN is amazing and gives you authenticity when talking to anyone about LCHF. Ultimately I would like to become a practitioner but it will depend if I can get time to do all the modules. Coaching is also included in the advisor training. That will blow you away, Good luck with the training👍👍

Love this post! I know (and appreciate) that you don’t sell anything here, but any brand and specific types of fat soluble vitamins you would recommend.. or at least can stand by from personal experience?

I'll go into all this next week but they do not work well in pill form, you need to get the foods. I do have some brands that I'll link to next week that I use. For now, the most important one is cod liver oil with butter oil from Green pastures. https://www.greenpasture.org/product/blue-ice-blend-capsules/

Although it comes in a capsule, all the vitamins are naturally occuring.

Blessings! Leslie

Excellent writing Leslie!🤩 Your story is very familiar. I’ve battled with my inept immune system my whole life too. I now believe it was induced by vaccines and living in moldy homes along with eating SAS full of Crisco, HFCS and glyphosated wheat/oats/corn products. I also went Carnivore for several years but still had issues. I found out last year I have CIRS with a HLA gene defect so I don’t clear biotoxins well. I’m back to megadosing Thiamine after soaking in some amazing hot springs with a high sulphur content to get my sulfate levels back in track to better tolerate B1. It’s helped greatly! I’m looking to add Lithium Orotate after listening to Dr. Nehl’s interviews about his Indoctrinated Brain. I have had some “virus” over the past few years as well as multiple “colds” as I’m in constant direct contact with vax-shedding peeps. I just took some elk liver out of the freezer. Thanks for the reminder that it’s best to get our fat soluble vitamins from animals rather than a lab!
