The Health Changes Coming to this Nation Could Be Epic! Here's My Wish List.
Before we start uncorking the champaign, we need to remember that we have a long, hard battle ahead. Here's where I hope the changes will happen.
I had the high schoolers in my health and nutrition class help me compile this list of changes. Please share this post far and wide.
I told the students that if enough people share this post, then who knows, it may end up in front of people who will have a say in what happens, and then the high schoolers’ ideas will help shape the future of health in this country. I love that!
Perhaps RFK Jr and his team have already thought of many of these ideas. But there may be a few points they haven’t considered. Here’s my crowd-sourced list.
Have more ideas about what changes could influence health and nutrition? Please leave a comment.
1. Stop Big Ag Government Subsidies
These subsidies make it nearly impossible for small farms to compete. American food needs to be de-centralized. We need to stop growing millions of acres of obesogenic soybean oil and high fructose corn syrup and replace it with cattle grazing land.
No, this doesn’t cause global warming from cow farts. Before Europeans settled North America, it is estimated there were between 30-60 million buffalo roamed the fruited plains. How about we turn all those tortured, depleted soils into grazing land for cattle?
I woke up Wednesday morning, the day after the election, and read this from Joel Salatin’s announcement titled Celebration:
I've been contacted by the Trump transition team to hold some sort of position within the USDA and have accepted one of the six "Advisor to the Secretary" spots. My favorite congressman, Thomas Massie from Kentucky, has agreed to go in as Secretary of Agriculture.
This was my first thought:
For those unfamiliar with Joel Salatin, he is the leader in the regenerative farm movement. For starters, check out this farm tour where he explains how he farms in a way that is sustainable, produces nutritious food, and restores the land:
I just wasn’t prepared for news so fantastic. Joel Salatin consulting the USDA. Wonders never cease!
2. Eliminate Conflicts of Interest
Clean up the corruption present in three-letter gov’t agencies: FDA, CDC, AMA (American Medical Association), AHA (American Heart Association), and the ADA (American Diabetes Association), etc. They’re all bought out, as are most of the nutrition schools.
RFK Jr writes in The Real Anthony Fauci:
My 40-year career as an environmental and public health advocate gave me a unique understanding of the corrupting mechanisms of “regulatory capture,” the process by which the regulator becomes beholden to the industry it’s meant to regulate. pg xv
No one who serves on the FDA should ever be allowed to work in pharma. The FDA was created to be an independent agency to regulate the pharmaceutical industry. Instead, the FDA protects big pharma interests.
I’ll tell you just one little story as an example. The Alzheimer’s drug Aduhelm had disastrous results in clinical trials, including brain bleeds in 41% of people and no improved symptoms1. Therefore, all 11 members of the advisory committee recommended against its approval.
The FDA approved it anyway for its accelerated approval plan. Then three members resigned from the advisory committee because they were so disgusted with the decision, and Harvard professor of medicine Aaron Kesselheim wrote in a letter to FDA commissioner Janet Woodcock that the approval of Biogen’s drug Aduhelm was “probably the worst drug approval decision in recent US history.”
So why did the FDA approve this disastrous drug? It means big bucks for Biogen at $24,000/person/year, and Medicare will foot the bill for those who sign up for a clinical trial.
So, this is what your tax money is going to fund: Alzheimer’s drugs that have no proven effectiveness and horrendous side effects234. Adorable, isn’t it? The FDA at its finest. If you think Biogen didn’t slip Janet Woodcock a cool million for this decision, I might have some swamp land to sell you.
Check out this revolving door of corruption. The same people who are supposed to regulate big pharma sit on the boards. Nothing to see here.
However, good news! Big pharma is shaking in their boots now that they might no longer be able to hide behind the FDA.
Notice that this tweet below from one of RFK Jr’s advisors received over 13 million views. This was written the day after the election:
On a side note, to anyone who tries to claim that big pharma isn’t a drug cartel, explain to me why the top five CEOs meet together. Sounds surprisingly like a drug cartel to me.
Next, make it public knowledge that the AMA (American Medical Association), AHA (American Heart Association), the CDC, and the ADA (American Diabetes Association) receive funding from processed food companies. These organizations pose as experts on preventing diseases but then fail to recommend healthy diets because they would harm their big food sponsors’ profits. That is how we have a situation where the CDC recommends a diabetic eat a diet with over 200 carbs a day which is too many carbs for a person who doesn’t have diabetes.
This is straight from the CDC website. It’s supposed to be a sample menu for diabetics but a better title would be a menu for how to get diabetes and then fund the pharma companies that sponsor the CDC:
Notice the 13 carb servings. The food pyramid written by processed food companies only had us eating 11 servings of carbs. But diabetics should have 13? Don’t forget your metformin! Novo Nordisk has some nifty insulin injections for you after you eat your oatmeal and rice.
These 3 letter agencies have the least reliable, most dated, and most biased info available. What a joke!
3. Reform and Decentralize Medical Schools
Centralization is the enemy of progress and innovation. Medical school curricula are written by Big Pharma, and this means no innovation is permitted. This was a system enacted by John D. Rockefeller who took his Standard Oil windfall and invested it in pharmaceuticals. He created a drug market by closing medical schools that didn’t teach “a pill for an ill” including jailing alternative practitioners. (Story told here)
Decentralized medicine needs to return to a view of the human body as a delicate ecosystem that finds homeostasis through natural treatments and heals best when not manipulated through chemicals. (Fasting helps a lot with that!)
Since nine out of ten medical schools don’t require a single class on nutrition, how about we start requiring medical schools to teach a class on human nutrition?
Isn’t that the first thing your vet asks you when you take your dog in: What dog food is he on? Why does it not matter for humans? I snapped pic this when I was at the zoo with my grandkids a while back.
The animals are on a “special diet” and they can’t have your nasty seed-oil-ridden, chemical-laden, mono-cropped, nutrient-depleted food that you're feeding your toddler, or the animals will get sick. The zoo doesn’t want to pay for the vet bills so they feed them a healthy diet. See how this works?
Why are doctors not putting sick humans on “specifically formulated diets?” Asking for a friend.
4. End all Physician Kickbacks
Why would any sane person support incentives that interfere with the doctor-patient relationship? This is most egregious in the case of the cancer drug cartel where chemo doctors make up to 70% of their income from the sale of chemo drugs. The entire system is rigged against off-patent drugs and the life of the patient takes a back seat to industry profits. The corruption is sickening.
5. Stop Pharma Advertising on Television
The media is meant to be an independent entity bringing us news stories we don’t have time to research for ourselves. It would be nice if they would inform us of potential harms, dangers, and conflicts of interest pertaining to drugs? But as long as their ad revenue comes from drug companies, the media will never criticize its sponsors. If you were a professional athlete sponsored by Nike would you tell people if Nike shoes hurt your feet? This is why you read precious few articles from the mainstream media mafia criticizing our lord and savior Pfizer.
6. Expose the Medical Journals that Are Bought and Paid for by Big Pharma (which is most of the top ones)
Consider this Substack written this morning by Dr. Pierre Kory: Medical Journal Censorship Is The Proximate Cause of the Covid Vaccine Catastrophe: Here I document the brazen censoring behaviors of numerous major medical journals attempting to prop up the "safe and effective" narrative despite mountains of evidence to the contrary.
Kory writes:
Since the rollout of the Covid mRNA “vaccines" numerous papers have been published showing tight, temporally associated increased rates of diseases and/or deaths associated with it. They have nearly all been retracted. Meanwhile, absurdly flawed or statistically manipulated papers concluding safety and efficacy (even in pregnant women) have been published in high impact journals.
Also, consider this testimony from a medical journal insider:
Catch-All Category
Get the fluoride out of all water (thankfully there’s already been quite a bit of talk about this)
Allow people to film inside of the CAFOs (concentrated animal feed operations) to encourage the public to buy local eggs, milk, and meat when possible. I believe this filming is currently illegal. People have a right to know what’s going on with their food.
Food stamp reform: no longer allow people to buy diabetes water, I mean Coke, etc with food stamps. How about people have to buy healthy ingredients to make meals? How about no junk food at all with food stamp money? Why are we funding both the diabetes water through food stamps and then the diabetes drugs through Medicaid? I mean, I know this benefits both big food and big pharma but it doesn’t benefit the poor, that’s fo’ shore.
Better disclosure about the food industry funding nutrition studies. There are on average about 25,000 observational (aka junk) studies per year funded by big food corporations trying to exonerate garbage like cereal. You can prove anything with an observational study. Can this just stop somehow? I’m open to ideas here.
The 1986 Vaccine Immunity Act—repeal it yesterday, please. If childhood vaccines are so safe and effective, why do they need legal immunity? The vaccine manufacturers argued in court that it is impossible to make a safe vaccine, and that’s why they need legal immunity, otherwise, they’d be sued out of existence by the damages. That’s because all vaccines are inherently unsafe. They said it, not me. Why is something this unsafe required for public schools? What about my body my choice? Parents need to be provided with more accurate information on risks so they can make informed decisions. Any parent who wants vaccines should have them available. I’m not for getting rid of them. Anyone who wants to take that risk with their child may do so. They won’t need to worry their little head about all the unvaccinated children if their child is protected. See how that works? If the vaccine works, then you have nothing to fear from unvaccinated kids.
We need some reforms concerning food labeling. If sugar has 50-some different names, this needs to be better disclosed. How about warning labels on foods with seed oils? (The high schooler came up with this one and I swooned). How about cosmetics with toxic ingredients have to disclose the potential harms?
We need to reform the current system surrounding parents’ rights and cancer treatments for children. If parents decide against a dangerous chemo drug with life-threatening side effects, they face the possibility of the state taking their child away. Evil.
Better labeling and info surrounding Diet drinks. I steered the kids away from outlawing diet drinks. As much as I dislike them, I’m a small gov’t kinda gal. I want the free market of ideas to flourish. When people have accurate info, they will make better decisions without us having to outlaw anything. The current system keeps the consumer in the dark in so many ways. The solution is a free press. Substack and X are the unsung heroes here.
Don’t Get Too Comfy
It’s easy to think that at this point the war for health has been won. Regenerative farmer Joel Salatin will be working in the USDA, RFK Jr. will be working to hold vaccine manufacturers accountable for their products, and Calley and Casey Means are spreading the word about how harmful processed foods are.
But celebrating now is misreading the situation. The battle has not been won—the battle has just begun. The entrenched big food and big poison powers-that-be will not roll over easily.
Healthcare is the biggest industry in the US. It controls the legacy media via advertising. Big Ag is not going to roll over and capitulate to the wishes of Joel Salatin. Food and medicine are the two most necessary human needs which means: Big Buckeroos.
Bill Gates owns more farmland than any single person in the US—275,000 acres across multiple states. Being of a plant-based vegan persuasion, there’s probably no one more opposed to Salatin’s ideas of gently shepherding animals according to their nature than Bill Gates.
I’m sure I’m missing many points so feel free to chime in with additions in the comments. However, there is one principle that undergirds all the points above and which I believe down to my very bones, and that is that small government is best and big government is always the enemy of the people.
Incidentally, I have the founding fathers on my side in this debate which is why they blessed us with our Bill of Rights that we should be eternally grateful for. In each of my points above, the government is interfering to pick winners and losers and not letting the free market do its thing. That’s what a farm subsidy is.
What else are you hoping can be done?
So What Can Each One of Us Do to Contribute?
Most of us don’t have a way to directly influence the things I mentioned above. But we can do our part in other ways.
We all are in different stages of a journey to unlearn things that we’ve held dear our whole lives. This takes time. So here are some things you can get started on now:
1. Keep on that journey of learning, even when it’s uncomfortable. Most of what you’ll learn will be the opposite of mainstream messaging. Be open to examining the evidence.
The best weapon you have is knowing the truth.
Freedom from predatory drug companies and Big Ag either begins with the person in the mirror or it doesn’t happen at all.
What else should the person in the mirror do?
2. Find a way to opt out of the predatory health insurance racket.
Here are two options: if your company offers a high deductible plan with an HSA or FSA, this is a great option and one that we chose for our family. Our premiums went from $1200/month to $200/month. Only one person in my household has seen a doctor once in 3 years (other than required sports physicals for school) and we’re on zero prescription drugs now (thanks to fasting), so you can imagine what a waste spending $1200/month on health insurance premiums would be. We still have major medical protection if something crazy were to happen.
And we have all this money in our HSA that we use for getting our own labwork done apart from a doctor, buying keto and glucose strips, I got a continuous glucose monitor for a month, and I can pay for certain supplements through TrueMed.
If your employer does not offer such a plan (and why don’t they all?), consider health insurance alternatives such as Samaritan’s Ministries (we’ve been members of them in the past and loved it), Christian Healthcare Ministries, and others.
3. Clean up your eating. Shop local.
I know that “shop local” sounds like a leftist phrase but let’s not be reactionary. Instead, let’s do the right thing even when it overlaps with people of different political persuasions than us.
It bothers me that when I went to my local health food store a few weeks ago, the magazine in the checkout aisle had the headline: “How to start your own Coven.” This means that literal witches are perceived by the health food store as their main shoppers.
Why is this? Why should witches be more concerned about eating healthy than Christians who believe that God created a natural order and that our health depends on us submitting to that natural order? Shame on us for letting the witches be more concerned about health than us, and then refusing to shop for healthy food because that’s where the witches shop. How about Christians take back the health movement?
I know I used this meme in my post last week but I’m going to use it again. Stop sending your hard-earned money to processed food giants.
4. If you need to lose some weight and/or have a few health problems, and you don’t currently fast, you need to start fasting today my friend. Don’t start tomorrow. Start tonight at 7 pm. Close your eating window tonight and see how long you can go tomorrow.
If you need the steps on how to get started, go to the Three Week Challenge. After you’ve graduated from that, you may need to employ some advanced techniques. Some people need to go advanced, some people get steller results with basic fasting. It all depends on how damaged your metabolic health is and how much healing you need. Healing through fasting can get you off the prescription drug train or keep you from hopping on at all.
In the spirit of doing everything opposite of what you’ve ever heard, here are some posts with evidence that questions the mainstream health narrative to help you on your way:
Cholesterol doesn’t cause heart disease, high blood sugar does.
No one should ever under any circumstance take a statin. Walk over to the trash. Insert statin. Never ingest again.
Saturated fat is healing and vitally necessary. Also, seed oils are toxic.
Fasting is NOT bad for women’s hormones. I repeat: NOT BAD! As in, corrects so many problems such as PCOS.
The cancer industry has lied to you and kept back off-patent cures to protect its billion-dollar industry (so not surprising, people).
Also, the number one most-proven cure for cancer is the keto diet, as explained here. A PET scan works by giving radioactive glucose to find tumors. Cancer cells eagerly suck up all the glucose revealing where they are. Every last oncologist on the planet knows that cancer cells are glucose hogs but few tell you to do a keto diet. If this doesn’t spell corruption, I don’t know what does!
The human digestive system is not designed to run primarily on plants
Eating too many plants can be dangerous if they’re high in oxalates.
Vitamin D levels are best raised by using a food form such as cod liver oil and paired with K and A
Iodine is necessary for fertility and general health. Many people need a lot more because exposure to fluoride and bromide blocks receptors. (Bromide is a fire retardant sprayed on clothing and furniture and also a commercial dough conditioner.)
Observational studies are the primary way big food lies to you. I break down the nefarious strategy in this video.
There were safe outpatient COVID treatments that were withheld from us. RFK Jr writes in The Real Anthony Fauci:
Dr. Fauci’s suppression of early treatments and off-patent remedies was responsible for up to 80% of the deaths attributed to COVID…
Dr. Kory says so plainly: “Dr. Fauci’s suppression of early treatments will go down in history as having caused the death of a half a million Americans in the ICU.”…
Never in the history of medicine,“ says Dr. Cole, “has early treatment, of any patient with any disease, been so overtly neglected by the medical profession on such a massive scale.” pg. 17

Good stuff here! Your list looks pretty comprehensive. I would like to know each ingredient in every vaccine available. This would include all ingredients including those considered generally recognized as safe. I say this because I believe that directly injecting anything into our bloodstream potentially hyper sensitizes a person to subsequent exposures. Peanut "allergies" are one that comes to mind as peanut oil was used as an adjuvant. Also it's all anaphylaxis. Allergies and rashes are simply mild anaphylaxis., IMHO.
I suggest that you have this in the wrong order: "No one who serves on the FDA should ever be allowed to work in pharma."
Because--pharma is private business, FDA is public. I would suggest reversing the phrasing: No one who has been employed by Pharma should be eligible for a position in the federal bureaucracy.
