I'm on day 3. Things are going well! I'm wondering about unsweetened green tea during the fasting hours...I could find any info. I know there was talk of black tea and black coffee, but I prefer green tea.
This question is a gray area and all it depends on how the green tea makes you feel. First, make sure it's unflavored green tea because some green teas sneak in "natural flavors," lemon, etc. If it's not flavored, see if it makes you feel shaky, extra hungry, or a little weird anywhere from 10-15 minutes and up to an hour after drinking it. If you don't notice any effects, then it should be fine. But do some experiments without the green tea just so you have a baseline of how good you feel without it to compare with how you feel with it.
Thanks! It's organic green unaltered tea. I usually only do one cup of caffeinated tea in the morning, after my yoga. Coffee makes my heart arrhythmia kick in. So I know to avoid that. I'll try tomorrow and note the results.
Amazing! What a wealth of knowledge you've put together and made available. Good for you! I'm grateful for you. I've been struggling but I see now that I'm not alone and that there's hope.
